E2 (Braemar refrigerated reverse cycle systems (wall split, multi split, cassette, bulkhead and ducted split ranges)) The indoor coil got cold enough to risk icing up, so the system paused on anti-freeze protection. Minor fault
E3 (Braemar refrigerated reverse cycle systems (wall split, multi split, cassette, bulkhead and ducted split ranges)) Low refrigerant pressure protection: on ducted systems this points to low refrigerant; on wall splits it can also flag a system blockage or leak. Fault – service needed
E4 (Braemar refrigerated reverse cycle systems (wall split, multi split, cassette, bulkhead and ducted split ranges)) The compressor discharge temperature got too high, so the system shut down to protect the compressor. Fault – service needed
E5 (Braemar wall split, multi split, cassette and bulkhead refrigerated systems) The whole unit drew too much electrical current and shut down on overcurrent protection. Fault – service needed
E6 (Braemar refrigerated reverse cycle systems (wall split, multi split, cassette, bulkhead and ducted split ranges)) The indoor and outdoor units (or the wall controller) stopped talking to each other, so the system stopped until the fault clears. Fault – service needed
E7 (Braemar wall split, multi split, cassette and bulkhead refrigerated systems) Two parts of a multi split system asked for opposite modes at once (for example one room heating while another cools), so one stopped. Minor fault
